A very nice Western Swing version of this tender love ballad is available for download (or at least was not too long ago) on Uncle Gil's site. It's by one Randy Hughes and is on an album entitled "Griddle-Greasin' Daddies and Dirty Cowboys," which also features one of the great home-made covers of all time. That version's lyrics are almost all different from Boliver's version here, but the idea is the same.

I had no idea that particular...er...terminology has been in use so long.
