This was released from Gene's 1st Kama Sutra Lp from 1970 If You Could See Me Today. This was about a year before hos death from a ruptured stomach from some hard years behind the bottle.
Just listened to this again. It's actually a pretty decent tune. It would fit right in on the Midnight Cowboy soundtrack.
