Interesting artifact -- I've seen plenty of albums like this -- covers of hits by unknown "popular artists" -- but never knew they came on 45s, too. Thanks for the education.
It's not the same girl, but it's pretty close. This is definitely much better than the usual cover versions -- or should I say, I'm familiar with the original and this one didn't make me cringe.

The lead singer is LOTS better than the backups!
I think this came out of Nashville, and may feature the same girl's voice; if not, it's a dead ringer for her!
