Is it just from my end or is DivShare messing with our minds again?

With Divshare you never know. I could not upload for three days. They were mediocre at best and they seemed to be going into the pooper. I really don't want to find another service but I either need to do that or close this thing down. The comments have really fallen off of late anyway and I think this blog is dying which at some point all blogs do. It has been fun though.

Aw, Howdy, I'm sorry to hear that - I know how much time and love is invested in a blog. I think streaming services like Spotify and Pandora (?) might be contributing to blogs going by the wayside. Of course, the blogs which offer complete CDs also help to spoil it for single-song blogs (though I'd much rather savour a single song than gorge on an album that 'might' have 3 or 4 good songs on it and that just ends up clogging the hard drive.) Then, of course, it's the hassle with file hosting services . . .

Have you ever looked into box.net? I like it very much, but the free account only offers 5 GB storage and the bandwidth seems to run out faster. It's very easy to use, though, and more reliable than divShare.

I hope you stick around, Howdy, because your blog is unique!

I could just be having a bad day too. Blogger is changing their interface and it seems to be more of a hassle. I would probably bitch about a sunny day the way I feel today. I don't do facebook or the social media, I have seen the dark side of that. I don't mind the obscurity of the blog either, I figure the ones who like 45's especially the forgotten ones will hang around. But I do feel like the breed of the record collector is doomed like unicorns and ol' puff the dragon. But enough of the melancholy whining,,, Aren't Hit records cool?

I hope you don't leave us, Howdy!
And keep in mind Blogger captcha has become so ridiculous that many folks likely can't or won't spend 3 minutes trying to get a comment through... removing the captcha might help.

Hope you stick around Howdy, I don't know how'd I'd fritter away my idle hours without 45's to look up. Guess I'd have to go back to doing what I was supposed to be doing.

I think I remember looking it up and Hit records was associated with Spar records, not sure. Derik posted up one with a Bobby Russell original which would indicate they were.
