I understand. I got hooked on song poem records 25 years ago. They are an addiction. The WFMU hipsters released a lot of the MSR recordings on a compilation a few years ago.
This is the same singer who became later- and better-known (to us song-poem fans, anyway) as "Bobbi Blake"! She was still using her professional name on MSR for its first few years, before it got changed there.
Hearing her later work, and comparing it to earlier things such as this - Boy did she ever benefit greatly from the advent of disco!
