As much as I would like to think that is a bagpipe, I suspect this is a sax masquerading as a pipe!

The only R&R record I know that uses real bagpipes is Under The Milky Way by Anglo/Oz 80s outfit, The Church. Fantastic middle eight played on pipes and 12-string guitars
